High Mountain Tandem Flight - Aiguille du Midi

High Mountain flights from Aiguille du Midi    (all year except July / August).

Take off from Aiguille du Midi at 3800m after a short 15 min ridge descent with a mountain guide.

Very high mountain atmosphere!

If the wind is north, on the Chamonix side, you will flirt with the faces of the Aiguilles de Chamonix towards the Signal or to the Grands Mulets flying over the Bossons glacier.

If the wind is to the south, you will be flying over the famous Mer de Glace glacier.

Elevation: 2700 m 

Activity duration: 3-4h 

For those who have a little experience of mountaineering, an excellent mindset and in good physical condition.
 
High altitude takeoffs require an engaged commitment.
 
Your active and voluntary participation, with a long and frank race, will be necessary for the take-off and the landing (the snow and the high altitude make the take-off more engaging and technical)
 
Flying is a voluntary act of breaking with the ones daily routine, your motivation and your involvement will be the conditions of your enjoyement and your safety in a sport defined as “risky”.
 
Meeting: generally in the morning - around 8 am.
 
We meet at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi cable-car in front of the information point
 
Parking: Grepon
 
Equipment: cramponable shoes, crampons, harness (rental possible), alpine-style sports pants, fleece and warm jacket, gloves, sunglasses, a small bottle of water, sunscreen
 
Cable car ticket (one-way ticket to access the take-off site)): 50 € (be careful, there may be a queue at the ticket office)
